Ta-da!
It's amazing how just a little bit of work can transform a room. Curtains from Walmart, some art from Hobby Lobby (50% off!!), and a rug from our neighbors yielded quite the transformation!
My reading nook
As crazy as I am about reading, I definitely needed a homey spot to curl up and read. The lamp is soo pretty on, but I couldn't make it come out right in the picture. You'll just have to come over to see. The art in this picture is also from Hobby Lobby (and also 50% off!)

My next project is my bedroom. It's in process... I've put up some art and have redone the curtains on one window, but I'm not satisfied yet...
